Georgian culture minister names Azerbaijan as one of her top favorite countries
Georgia’s Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze has praised Azerbaijan as a symbol of security, peace, and good neighborliness in the region, adding that Azerbaijan is one of her favorite countries.
She made these remarks during a concert commemorating Georgia’s Independence Day at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Addressing attendees, Rukhadze expressed her deep admiration for Azerbaijan and the strong historical and cultural ties between the two nations. “I must confess, I love Azerbaijan very much and am delighted to be here today. Azerbaijan is one of my favorite countries,” she said.
She also expressed personal pride in speaking at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, named after the Azerbaijani national leader, describing it as an honor both as a minister and as a Georgian representative.
Highlighting centuries of friendly relations, Rukhadze noted the Georgian Culture Ministry’s commitment to expanding cooperation through various joint projects with Azerbaijani cultural institutions.
Concluding her speech, she congratulated Azerbaijan on its upcoming Independence Day, delivering her well wishes in Azerbaijani: “Long live the friendship between Azerbaijan and Georgia.”
