Group of children to undergo rehabilitation in Baku due to situation in Ukraine
Another group of Ukrainian children, who lost one of their parents because of the situation in Ukraine, has been brought to Azerbaijan.
The 29 underage children who arrived in the country with the organisation of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan will be placed in children camps.
The children will undergo social rehabilitation for 15 days in Baku and Gabala, the ministry told Trend on Saturday.
Individual psychological counselling, group therapy, meditation, and yoga sessions, as well as psychosocial trainings and workshops will serve to stabilise the emotional state of the children, and their integration into society. The campers will also have a chance to improve their language skills on an English language course.
In addition, excursions to historical sites and museums will be held during this period in order to effectively organise the children's cultural leisure time, and teamwork on various topics will be carried out.
