Industrial production exceeds $20 billion in Azerbaijani capital since early 2022

The goods and services worth 43.1 billion manat ($25.3 billion) were produced in the industrial sector in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku in January-July 2022.

Some 85.5 per cent of industrial goods was produced in the mining sector, 12.6 per cent - in the manufacturing sector, 1.5 per cent - in the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.4 per cent - in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and recycling, the Baku Statistics Office told APA.

The share of the non-state sector in industry was 90.6 per cent. The share of industrial products in the total volume of production amounted to 95.1 per cent while industrial services - 4.9 per cent.
