International travellers’ visit to liberated Azerbaijani lands ends

A three-day visit to the liberated Azerbaijani territories by a group of 50 foreign travellers representing 26 countries has ended.

During the trip, the guests saw vandalism committed by the Armenians in Fuzuli, Aghdam, Shusha, Jabrayil, Lachin, Kalbajar and other liberated lands, Report informs.

On the first day of the visit, the guests arrived in Fuzuli, then in Shusha. Travellers viewed the city fortress, the building of the executive power, built after the liberation of the city from occupation, and also took a walk along Jidir Duzu in Shusha.

The guests also visited Aghdam, known as the “Hiroshima of the Caucasus”. Tourists saw the destruction caused by Armenia in Aghdam during the years of occupation, visited the Alley of Honorary Burial, the Aghdam State Drama Theatre, where they watched footage of the pre-occupation period, testifying the desire of the occupiers to completely erase traces of the once prosperous city.

A group consisting of 50 people, including representatives of the US, Canada, Switzerland, UK, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Poland, Finland, Norway, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, Singapore, Australia and other countries, was in the liberated Azerbaijani territories from November 4 to 6.

On the last day of the visit, the travellers visited the Jabrayil district, where they viewed the Khudafarin Bridge, which is an ancient Azerbaijani monument, and also observed the process of defusing one of the mines planted by the Armenian armed forces in Fuzuli.
