Minister: Azerbaijan's industrial zones produce products worth $4.97 billion
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has said that industrial zones of Azerbaijan produced products worth 8.45 billion manats ($$.97 billion).
“Today marks 3 years since the establishment of the Economic Zones Development Agency. Over this period, 56 business entities, with an investment volume of 750 million manats [$440 million], have acquired residency in the industrial zones under the Agency. Seventeen enterprises have commenced operations, resulting in the creation of 1,336 permanent jobs. In the past three years, the industrial zones under the Agency have witnessed the production of goods worth 8.45 billion manats [$4.97 billion], with 35.7% (3.02 billion manats [$1.77 billion]) of the total value being exported,” Jabbarov wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.
