More than 300 children deported from Iraq, Syria to Azerbaijan

A total of 412 people were deported from Iraq and Syria to Azerbaijan in 2021.

According to Vugar Behbudov, Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, among them 380 are children.

“Out of the deported 32 people are women. 64 children were placed in an orphanage and subsequently returned to their families,” he said in a press conference on December 27, Oxu.Az informs.
