Total of 16 Ukrainian military facilities destroyed last night - Russian MoD
The Russian Armed Forces destroyed four warehouses of weapons and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as three military bases by using Iskander missiles, Spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov told TASS.
“Four warehouses of weapons and military equipment, as well as three military bases near Ukraine’s Popasna, Yampol and Kramatorsk settlements were destroyed," spokesman for the ministry said.
Konashenkov added that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 16 Ukrainian military facilities, including fuel depots, ammunition depots, and military equipment by using precision strike missiles.
"Some 16 Ukrainian military facilities, including five command posts, fuel tanks, three ammunition depots, as well as personnel and military equipment in Barvinkove, Huliaipole, Kamyshevakha, Zelene Pole, Velyka Mykhailivka and Mykolaiv settlements, were destroyed during the night through high-precision strike missiles," spokesman said.
Konashenkov added that Russian air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter aircraft and one Su-25 fighter jet, as well as 11 drones.
“Russian air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian combat aircraft, two MiG-29 fighter aircraft near Ukrainian Izyum settlement and one Su-25 fighter jet near Avdiivka city,” Konashenkov said.
The spokesman stressed that 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were also shot down in Klimovo, Nevelske, Novotroitske, Izyum, Panteleimonivka, Solodkovodne, Yasnoye settlements.
“Some 10 large-caliber rockets fired by Ukrainian multiple rocket launchers at Chornobaivka settlement were intercepted,” Konashenkov said.
“Russian artillery units struck 315 Ukrainian military bases during the night,” Konashenkov said. "Ukrainian 18 military command posts, 22 artillery batteries, Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system, as well as 275 strong-points and military bases were attacked.”
