Traffic accident leaves one dead in Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar

Azerbaijani serviceman Fuad Ahmadov died as a result of a traffic accident in the Kalbajar district on May 3.

“Other injured servicemen were taken to a nearby hospital and are under medical supervision. An investigation into the accident is underway,” the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told APA.

A VAZ passenger car collided with a truck. As a result of the accident, five people were injured; their condition is satisfactory. The injured are being identified.

According to the preliminary information, the truck belongs to one of the companies involved in restoration work in Kalbajar.

The accident is under investigation.
