Turkish authorities capture 40 ISIS suspects in Operation Bozdoğan-16 VIDEO
The large-scale Operation Bozdoğan-16, aimed at combating terrorism, unfolded in Türkiye, targeting the notorious terrorist organization ISIS.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the success of the operation, revealing that 40 suspects were apprehended across 8 provinces as part of the crackdown on ISIS activities.
Minister Yerlikaya, in a statement shared on social media platform X and reported by Caliber.Az, underscored the relentless efforts of law enforcement agencies in Türkiye against ISIS. He disclosed that between June 2023 and March 2024, a staggering 1,316 operations had been executed against ISIS operatives, resulting in the capture of 2,733 suspects.
