Turkish police detain leader of criminal organisation VIDEO
Nine people, including the leader of an organized crime group, were detained in Istanbul as part of the Cage-33 (KAFES-33) operation of law enforcers.
The suspects were taken into custody as a result of simultaneous raids within the framework of operation Cage-33 in Istanbul, Ankara, Diyarbakir and Mersin, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports

The organized crime group was found to have pressured entrepreneurs by threatening businessmen and their family members with death, as well as carrying out armed attacks on those who refused to pay.
A total of nine suspects were detained during Operation Cage-33, including the organization's leader Ahmet Soylemez.
