Türkiye approves amendment to tariff quota on imports of Azerbaijani goods

Erdogan approves amendment to tariff quota on imports of Azerbaijani goodsAn amendment has been made to the decree on the introduction of a tariff quota for imports of goods of Azerbaijani origin, in respect of which Türkiye applies preferential trade regime.

The relevant document was signed by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

According to the amendment, the basic tariff rate on beverages, including soft drinks, within the quota of 15,000 hectoliters is reduced by 100%.

The document comes into force on July 1.

May 10, the list of goods, customs duties on which will be reduced within the framework of the updated preferential trade agreement between Azerbaijan and Türkiye was expanded.
