Türkiye captures PKK terror suspect in Iraq PHOTOS
Through the efforts of the National Intelligence Organisation (MIT), a particularly dangerous PKK/KSK militant Ramadan Gunesh has been captured in the Sulaymaniyah area in northwestern Iraq and brought to Türkiye.
According to NTV sources in the security forces, Ramadan Gunesh took part in 12 terrorist actions carried out by the PKK/KSK in Hakkari/Chukurja from 2011 to 2017.
After almost a year of observation, Gunesh was caught during a raid organised by MIT employees in Sulaymaniyah, which the terrorist organisation considered a "safe zone".
Ramadan Gunesh joined the organisation in 2008 and worked for many years in the rural areas of Hakkari, Iraq and Syria.
Gunesh was in the organisation's special forces unit in 2009 and played an active role in the attacks, which killed 60 security service personnel between 2011 and 2017.
