Türkiye denies claims on sharing with Israel info on Kurecik radar base
The Directorate of Communications' Disinformation Combat Center emphasized that the allegations regarding the radar base in Kurecik, Malatya, had previously been refuted.
However, following President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's meeting with Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, it was emphasized that the baseless allegation had deliberately resurfaced, according to the newspaper Türkiye.
"Information obtained from the radar system in Kurecik is shared only with allies within the framework of NATO procedures. The purpose of this data sharing is to protect the peoples, territories, and forces of NATO allied countries," it was stated.
It was clarified that sharing information with non-NATO ally countries like Israel is not the case.
"Türkiye has always been and will continue to be alongside our Palestinian brothers' just cause under all circumstances," the Disinformation Combat Center said.
