Türkiye continues to demonstrate its unwavering resolve to tackle terrorism and bolster regional security through a series of targeted operations. These actions are part of a broader strategy to disrupt terrorist activity and restore stability in the affected regions.
Turkish authorities commonly use the term "neutralise" to indicate that terrorists have either surrendered, been killed, or captured during these operations.
Over the past four decades, the PKK, recognised as a terrorist organisation by Türkiye, the United States, and the European Union, has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women and children.
