Unidentified parties set fire to conscription office in Russia's Amur Oblast
11 January 2023 13:48
A military enlistment office has been set on fire in Russia's Amur Region, according to the Russian Telegram channel “Baza”.
As the channel writes, the fire was sparked after unknown people threw a bottle with a flammable liquid (Molotov cocktail) into the office, as a result of which, the building’s window frame caught fire.
The incident happened early on January 11 on Maksim Gorky Street in Magdagachi in the far east of Russia.
The watchman soon discovered that a fire had started and called the emergency services. Firefighters arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire, which had managed to spread to the interior rooms.
