Azerbaijan may cancel customs duty on raw materials imported into liberated lands
Producers working on the Azerbaijani territories liberated from Armenia's occupation will be offered benefits.
The deputy head of the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones, Elkhan Shiriyev, made the remarks in an interview with reporters, according to APA.
According to him, the point is about the exemption from customs duties of raw materials imported into the territories liberated from Armenian occupation.
"These are materials intended for use in restoration work and the creation of industrial enterprises. This will increase the competitiveness of imported products. The main goal here is to focus the attention of entrepreneurs on the territories liberated from occupation," Elkhan Shiriyev said.
The deputy head of the agency did not rule out that a new package of benefits will be presented within the next year and a half.
