ANAMA demining report: Progress & discoveries in liberated territories

The Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) has released its weekly report detailing demining operations conducted in recently liberated territories from occupation, spanning May 6 to 12.

According to ANAMA's briefing to Caliber.Az, a total of 6 anti-personnel mines, 32 anti-tank mines, and 358 unexploded ordnance were discovered across multiple regions including Tartar, Aghdam, Agdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Khojavand, Jabrail, and Zangilan during this period.

The report also highlights that 880.3 hectares of land were successfully cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, contributing to the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of these areas.
