Armenian defence minister continues inspections of military units

Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan paid an unannounced visit to the N military unit of the Armenian Defence Ministry on May 5.

According to the Armenian Defence Ministry "Papikyan toured the unit, monitored the schedule of tactical and professional trainings, talked to the conscripts and inquired about their service," Caliber.Az reports quoting Armenian media.

The minister urged the soldiers to approach the training process with the utmost responsibility and gain the maximum knowledge necessary to properly perform the duties of a junior commander in the field.

Then the minister toured the military unit, got acquainted with the social conditions and monitored the progress of construction of the new canteen.

Earlier in the day Papikyan visited the Armenian armed forces' combat positions.
