Azerbaijan dismisses chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly
Chairman of the Supreme Majlis (Assembly) of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has been dismissed.
The decision was signed by First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Azer Zeynalov, Report informs.
The Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, guided by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, took into account Talibov’s appeal.
The eighth session of the sixth convocation of the Supreme Majlis was held on December 21. The agenda of the session included the issue of considering the appeal of the chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Zeynalov said that Talibov asked to consider his appeal in connection with the health conditions.
A draft decision on the dismissal of the chairman was submitted to the session participants. The decision was put to a vote and adopted.
