Earlier, Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hisham Mohamed Nagy Abdel Hamid said that relations between Egypt and Azerbaijan are set to strengthen and flourish.
The ambassador highlighted the ongoing and future collaborative efforts between the two nations.
"In early 2023, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi visited Baku, and in June this year, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited Egypt," said Abdel Hamid.
"These two visits were an important milestone in the development of our bilateral relations and will make a great contribution to the development of the Egypt-Azerbaijan relations. The two presidents expressed interest in discussing cooperation opportunities in many fields such as construction, transport, pharmaceuticals, energy, and infrastructure. A decision was made to hold the next meeting of the joint commission on economic, technical, and scientific cooperation as soon as possible to promote our economic and trade relations," he added.
