Azerbaijan, Iran discuss construction of hydroelectric power plants

The meeting of the joint Azerbaijani-Iranian technical commission on the construction of "Ordubad" and "Marazad" hydroelectric power plants (HPP) has kicked off.

Head of the Department of Foreign Ministry in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vusal Alakbarli, Head of Nakhchivan State Energy Service Namig Pashayev and other officials are on a visit to Iran to participate in the meeting, Report informs.

Further steps to complete the construction of "Ordubad" and "Marazad" hydroelectric power plants, as well as "Khudaferin" and "Giz Galasy" hydroelectric power plants are discussed at the meeting.
