Azerbaijan participating in World Defence Show-2024 in Saudi Arabia

The World Defence Show-2024 is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from February 4 till February 8.

The defence products and the latest military technologies are being showcased at the exhibition. A delegation led by Azerbaijani Minister of Defence Industry Vugar Mustafayev is participating in the event, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry told Caliber.Az.

A total of 750 participants and 115 delegates from more than 45 countries are taking part in the exhibition. Some 107 locally produced defence products are showcased at the stand of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry.

As part of the opening ceremony, Mustafayev met with Saudi Arabian Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud and Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Military Industries Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Ohali. The opportunities for cooperation in defence industry between the two countries were discussed during the meetings. The views on issues of mutual interest were exchanged.

Mustafayev viewed defence products and new technologies at the stands of Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
