Azerbaijan sends more servicemen to study in Türkiye

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Defence Minister, Land Forces Commander Anvar Afandiyev has said that the number of Azerbaijani military personnel studying in educational institutions of the Turkish Armed Forces has increased.

He made the statement on June 15 in Shusha city at a conference on the topic "Azerbaijani-Turkish strategic allied relations - a source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and the region", according to Report.

He noted that more than 200 officers, ensigns and long-term servicemen are presently undergoing training and advanced training courses in various educational institutions, and training centres of the Turkish Armed Forces.
