Azerbaijan to allocate $1.7 billion for restoration of liberated territories in 2023

Azerbaijan will allocate $1.7 billion for the restoration of the liberated territories.

Report informs, Speaker of the Milli Majlis (parliament) Sahiba Gafarova said this during her speech at the 12th plenary session of TÜRKPA on the topic "Parliamentary diplomacy for a more just world: energy, migration, food."

According to her, large-scale construction work, which began immediately after the liberation of the lands of Azerbaijan from Armenia's occupation, continues at a rapid pace.

“In 2021-2022, about $4 billion was spent on these works. This year, at least 1.7 billion US dollars will be allocated for reconstruction,” the speaker noted.
