Azerbaijan and Türkiye plan to hold over 20 joint military drills in 2022.
Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister, Land Forces Commander Anvar Afandiyev made the remarks at a conference on the topic "Azerbaijani-Turkish strategic allied relations - a source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and the region" in Shusha on June 15, according to Report.
He noted that several planned exercises had already been held.
Afandiyev emphasised that such exercises are of great importance in terms of military cooperation and strengthening the brotherhood between the two brotherly peoples.
