Azerbaijani, Montenegrin FMs discuss cooperation in Skopje

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Montenegrin counterpart Filip Ivanovic within the framework of the 30th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Skopje, North Macedonia.

“Within OSCEMC2023, Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Filip Ivanovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the Foreign Ministry’s on X page.

“Ministers exchanged views on prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, regional and international security issues of mutual interest,” the ministry wrote.

The OSCE 30th Ministerial Council is taking place on November 30 - December 1, 2023, in Skopje, North Macedonia.

The Ministerial Council is the central decision-making and governing body of the OSCE. The annual meeting is an opportunity for the Foreign Ministers to review and assess the security situation in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian area, as well as the organization's work in all its fields of activity.

The annual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States will be held at the invitation of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani.
