Azerbaijani official: Seven historical monuments restored in Shusha, ten more under restoration

Aydin Karimov, the Azerbaijani president’s special representative in Shusha Region, has said that seven historical monuments had been restored in Shusha.

The official noted that another ten such monuments, including three mosques, are under restoration by local and foreign specialists, according to Report.

Karimov stressed that since 2020, after liberation of the Azerbaijani territories from Armenian occupation, important steps have been taken to restore the Shusha city's historical and cultural heritage.

"Many religious monuments are now being restored. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year,” he added.
