Azerbaijani, Turkish special forces complete covert operations PHOTO

Joint military exercise "SAT-SAS-2024" between Azerbaijan and Türkiye has successfully concluded, with special forces from both countries conducting covert operations behind enemy lines.

The exercise, which involved the underwater assault and underwater defence units of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, took place at the Aksaz naval base in Marmaris, Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, the final phase of the exercise saw special forces tasked by withdrawing a group by sea to the rear of a simulated enemy, conducting covert surveillance, and executing a raid on a designated target.

All objectives were successfully completed, marking the exercise as a significant milestone in the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
