Kazakh special services launch operation against religious radicals

Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee has announced the launch of an operation to suppress the activities of criminal groups, which consist of adherents of destructive religious movements.

According to the Committee, the operation will be conducted in six regions, as well as in Shymkent in the south of the country. The results of the activities will be reported in the coming days, Caliber.Az reports citing the Kazakh media.
