PM Orban describes Azerbaijan, Hungary as brotherly countries
The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said that Azerbaijan and Hungary enjoy friendly relations not for natural gas.
“We enjoy brotherly relations, we are brotherly countries," he said while addressing the Baku-hosted UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia – SPECA Summit on November 24, according to the APA news agency.
He said that the two countries have recently built solid relations in the field of energy.
"Our trade turnover hit record, we want to increase investments. The first batch of Azerbaijani gas has already been delivered to Hungary. I congratulate the President of Azerbaijan, both for this platform and for his personal efforts in global politics. You promote mutual respect in global politics," Orban emphasized.
