Russia fully meets Kyrgyzstan's fuel needs
The Russian government has announced that the Russian companies fully meet Kyrgyzstan's needs for oil products and continue developing the country's gas infrastructure.
The supplies include gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel fuel, and bitumen, Caliber.Az reports via Kyrgyz media.
"One of the key spheres of cooperation is the energy sector. Russia fully meets Kyrgyzstan's needs for oil products," the Russian government said.
Currently, a programme for providing Kyrgyzstan with gas is being implemented with Gazprom, aimed at completion by 2030. Over 80 Russian regions maintain trade and economic ties with Kyrgyzstan.
Russia accounts for 20 per cent of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade. In 2023, trade turnover between the two countries increased by 5.6 per cent, reaching $3.6 billion. Positive dynamics in trade relations are expected to continue in 2024.
