Turkish Armed Forces destroy PKK terrorists in Iraq VIDEO

The Turkish Armed Forces neutralised three PKK terrorists in the area of Pençe-Kilit operation in northern Iraq.

Caliber.Az reports that the Turkish Ministry of National Defence announced this on its Twitter page.

Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerimiz, terörü kaynağında yok etmek için proaktif ve kesintisiz operasyonlarla mücadeleye devam ediyor.

Irak'ın kuzeyindeki Pençe-Kilit Operasyonu bölgesindeki Metina'da tespit edilen 3 PKK'lı terörist etkisiz hâle getirildi.

"The Turkish military is determined to continue destroying terrorists," the Defence Ministry stressed.

The conflict between Türkiye and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has lasted more than 25 years, claiming more than 40,000 lives. The PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
