Turkish president meets with Algerian counterpart in Algiers
A bilateral meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune has begun in Algeria.
President Erdogan visited the monument to the martyrs after the official welcoming ceremony held at the Algerian Houari Boumediene Airport with the participation of the Algerian President, according to Anadolu.
The meeting of heads of state takes place at the presidential palace in Algiers.
As part of the visit, the second meeting of the Türkiye-Algeria High-Level Cooperation Council will be held, chaired by Erdogan and Tebboune.
On November 21, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Algeria on an official visit.
The Turkish leader is accompanied on the trip by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Family and Social Services Minister Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu, head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalin, head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration Fahrettin Altun and chief adviser to the president, Ambassador Akif Cagatay Kilic.
