Türkiye completes contruction of onshore pipeline for Black Sea gas
Türkiye has completed the construction of the onshore part of the pipeline, which connects the Black Sea fields with the national gas distribution system.
“The Turkish state-owned company BOTAS has completed the construction of a gas metering station that will receive Black Sea gas from the Filyos enterprise, as well as the laying of a 36 km onshore pipeline connecting this station with the country's national gas distribution system,” Gazeta.ru reports via the Anadolu Agency.
According to the agency, gas from the Black Sea field will begin to flow to consumers by the end of March 2023. At the same time, about 10 million cubic metres of gas will be pumped at the first stage. However, the station's potential can reach 50 million cubic metres of gas per day.
