Ukrainian MPs continue holding meetings in Azerbaijan
The official delegation of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada (parliament), which is in Baku on a visit, and consists of members of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine inter-parliamentary friendship group, has held a meeting with Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nazim Tatliyev.
The intensification of the bilateral economic cooperation, investments of Azerbaijani businessmen in the Ukrainian economy, participation of Ukrainian companies in the restoration of the liberated Azerbaijani territories, etc. were discussed at the meeting in the presence of Co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Vlodymyr Kreydenko, MPs Mykola Galushko and Anton Shvachko, as well as Chairman of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine Hikmat Javadov, Report informs.
On behalf of Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Ukrainian MPs expressed gratitude to all Azerbaijani citizens who are actively assisting the Ukrainian people in solving humanitarian issues and rendering support in other spheres.
Moreover, the Ukrainian delegation, together with the ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, visited the Ukrainian House and reviewed its activity.
The Ukrainian Centre in Baku opened in 2021. The Ukrainian language lessons are held here, the main purpose of which is to establish cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, as well as to popularise the Ukrainian language.
