Armenia, Luxembourg discuss defence cooperation
On the sidelines of his working visit to Luxembourg, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, engaged in a series of high-level discussions aimed at enhancing defence cooperation and addressing regional security concerns.
The meeting took place with the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Claude Wiesler, and members of the Defense Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, according to a statement from the Armenian Defence Ministry, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Minister Papikyan emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral defence ties between Armenia and Luxembourg, noting that enhanced cooperation could significantly contribute to regional stability. The discussions covered a range of topics, including shared security challenges and potential collaborative efforts in defence strategy and policy.
A key highlight of the meeting was Minister Papikyan's presentation of the “Crossroads of Peace” project, an initiative developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
