Azerbaijan, Belarus FMs discuss prospects of trade cooperation
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Foreign Minister of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov on the margins of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the sides exchanged views on various aspects of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of strategic partnership relations between the two countries, and emphasized the importance of continuing high-level meetings and political dialogue to identify new areas of cooperation and raise the partnership to a qualitatively new level.
It was noted that the dialogue between the two countries' leaders plays an important role in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, and in this context, the sides recalled with satisfaction the historic visit of the President of Belarus to the liberated territories.
Such contacts, the sides noted, play an important role in discussing the prospects of friendly and partnership relations.
The importance of the prospects for cooperation in various economic areas, including trade and investment, was emphasized, as well as the need to take advantage of these opportunities.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
