Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan launch new wave of joint projects across key sectors
Kazakhstan has announced a range of new joint initiatives with Azerbaijan spanning industry, digital technologies, tourism, and education, further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
New initiatives were unveiled during the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Business Forum, held earlier this week in Astana, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Baku.
During the forum, both sides reached agreements on several projects aimed at expanding economic and social collaboration. Among the signed memorandums were those concerning the construction of the Alakol health and wellness complex, the production of advanced energy-efficient lighting systems in Almaty, joint efforts in developing educational technologies, cooperation in the production and sale of children’s clothing, and the establishment of a classroom honoring national leader Heydar Aliyev in one of Kazakhstan’s schools. Additionally, an agreement was signed to launch the SME House project in Astana, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
In a gesture of educational partnership, the Kazakh company Qalan announced its readiness to offer educational services free of charge to schools in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh economic region, with content tailored to the Azerbaijani education system.
In total, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan signed 16 agreements and memoranda of cooperation during the event, underscoring the countries’ shared commitment to deepening economic, cultural, and technological ties.
