Azerbaijan participating in CIS Tariff Conference on railway transportation
The 33rd Tariff Conference of the railway administrations involved in the tariff agreement of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is being held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The representatives from the railway administrations of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the Rail Transport Council of the CIS member states, will discuss tariff policy at the conference, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants will adopt the Tariff Policy for the railways of the CIS member states for cargo transportation in international traffic for 2025.
The Commonwealth Member State Rail Transport Council is an international institution within the CIS that oversees railway operations at the international level. Founded on February 14, 1992, its headquarters is located in Russia’s Moscow city.
