The first International Investment Mining and Metallurgical Forum and Exhibition opened in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on October 29.
The ministers from Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and other countries are participating in the forum, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The event will include five sessions focusing on the contribution of geology to economic development and the potential of mineral resources in Tajikistan. So far, the country has revealed and prepared for exploration 800 deposits of rare minerals and precious metals.
The forum will feature over 30 speakers and participants, including more than 200 leaders from key mining and metallurgical companies in Tajikistan and Central Asian countries. Initiators of investment projects, developers, and manufacturers of equipment and technologies for enterprises, as well as international investors, will present advanced technologies and equipment for ore extraction and processing.
New solutions for mining operations will be showcased. During the forum, several international memoranda are scheduled to be signed, creating new opportunities for industrialists from the participating countries. It's important to note that the forum is the first major event in the field of mining and metallurgy in the history of sovereign Tajikistan. The planned activities are expected to serve as an effective platform for exchanging views and professional experience among industry experts.
They will facilitate discussions on the prospects for developing the country’s mining and metallurgy market, innovations in extraction and processing technologies, as well as enhancing investment potential and fostering effective collaboration among specialized companies.
