Azerenerji to open substation in Lachin earlier than expected PHOTO

Azerenerji OJSC intends to complete the construction of the 110/35/10-kilovolt Lachin nodal substation ahead of schedule.

The agency told Caliber.Az that the construction of the substation, the foundation of which was laid by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on September 21, is proceeding at a fast pace and, although less than two months have passed, most of the work has been completed.

Transformers have been installed at the substation, most of the work on the open distribution area has been completed, and the construction of the control room and the engineering dormitory is going on at a fast pace.

Work has been completed on the Gorchu substation built by Azerenerji in the other direction of the Lachin district, as well as work on the double-circuit 110 kV transmission line from Kalbajar to Gorchu.
