Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway carries over 1 million tons of cargo

Last year, 432,284 tons of cargo were transported on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

Since the railway's inception in 2017 to 2022, the total volume of cargo transportation along the railroad amounted to 1,347,585 tons.

“A number of important projects are underway to significantly increase cargo traffic along this route,” the agency said in a statement, according to Report.
