International Astronautical Federation invites to take part in Azerbaijan’s event in 2023

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) has addressed the participants of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2022), to be held in Paris, France next month.

IAF invited the participants to take part in the event to be organised by Azerbaijan next year, Report informs.

“We invite IAC 2022 delegations to visit Azercosmos H5 stand to know what they will see at IAC 2023 in Baku, as well as to see what Azerbaijan has to offer, to discover the centuries-old space heritage of this country,” the message says.

Azerbaijan will host the 74th International Astronautical Congress in 2023. The first of such event was held in Azerbaijan during the Soviet times in 1972.

The Organising Committee for the preparation for IAC 2023 in Baku was established on February 7, 2022.

The Committee is chaired by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, while the deputy chairman is Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev.
