Iran draws red line in Palestinian-Israeli conflict
Tehran has pointed to Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip as a red line.
The statement was made by the first deputy head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Ebrahim Azizi, Caliber.Az reports, citing Prime.
He emphasised that the Palestinian resistance front has virtually no borders.
“Wherever Israel faces this front, it will certainly be attacked by it. Israel must realize that the invasion of Gaza is a red line, that Palestine is waiting for Israel to make this blunder. If the Israeli regime takes such a step and does not stop missile attacks on the Gaza Strip, it will have to wait for the emergence of new fronts of military action against it, and not just one, as it is now,” the parliamentarian explained.
According to him, if the scenario described above develops, Israel, as a result of the opening of new fronts, will not be able to withstand their resistance.
Azizi said that this could lead not only to the defeat of Israel but also to the fall of power in Tel Aviv and the destruction of statehood.
