Israeli firm develops next-gen radar
Israel-based Camero-Tech company has developed a next-generation portable, high-performance imaging system that can ‘see’ through walls, according to Defence Blog.
It is noted that the Xaver 1000 is optimized for intelligence units, search and rescue teams. The Xaver 1000 has an AI-based tracking algorithm of live targets and its own 3D ‘Sense-Through-The-Wall’ capability, enabling it to detect and ‘see’ people or static objects behind walls and obstacles. The high-resolution imaging of the radar allows it to recognize human body parts, it can also determine its posture behind a wall and classify targets by type. In addition, the radar has an AI-based target tracking algorithm.
It is reported that the radar is equipped with a tripod for its installation and a touch screen with a diagonal of 10.1 inches. Xaver 1000 can record received data, which allows you to analyze the activities of the unit.
