The article provides details of Azerbaijan's initiative for a ceasefire during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), set to take place in Baku this November, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The article also emphasises that the initiative envisages observing a global truce for a week before and after COP29, inclusive.
It is reported that this proposal has been submitted to all member countries of the UNFCCC, with a positive response from the parties involved.
