Top cleric: Turkic nations should stand by each other in difficult times

The chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade, has said that Turkic nations should stand by each other at difficult times.

He made the remarks while recalling that 55,000 people died as a result of the devastating earthquake in Turkey, Report informs.

"The Turkic peoples should be next to each other in difficult times," he said.

He added that "Ramadan is a month of mercy, these days each of us should remember the martyrs."

Pashazade congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the Ramadan holiday.
