Turkish army neutralises nearly 2,000 terrorists since early 2024 Including 95 over past two weeks
Turkish Defence Ministry Spokesperson Zeki Aktürk has said that the Turkish army neutralised 1,963 terrorists in the region since January 1, 2024.
“In the last two weeks, Turkish forces have neutralized 95 terrorists, including in Iraq and northern Syria. Thus, the total number of terrorists neutralized since January 1, 2024, has reached 1,963, with 983 in northern Iraq and 980 in northern Syria,” Caliber.Az quotes Aktürk as saying.

He also mentioned that two PKK terrorists, who fled from their hideouts in northern Iraq, surrendered at the Habur border post.
“In addition, during air operations conducted on September 2 and 9 against terrorist targets in Metina, Zap, Gara, Hakurk, Kandil, and Asos in northern Iraq, 41 targets, consisting of caves, shelters, hideouts, warehouses, and facilities used by the separatist organization, were destroyed.
