Turkish payment system launches money transfers to Central Asian countries
The Turkish payment system Turan Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi (Turan) plans to launch money transfers from Türkiye to Central Asian countries in November.
“Turan will provide new opportunities for clients wishing to send funds to Central Asian countries. The move reflects the company's commitment to expand its global network and meet customer demands for convenient and secure money transactions. It should be noted that money transfers are currently being successfully carried out through the Turkish payment system Turan Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi (Turan) to Azerbaijan. Monthly transfers amount to approximately 9.5 million Turkish lira ($33,000). Turan aims to increase this figure to 10 million liras ($34,000) in October and 37.5 million liras ($1.3 million) per month in 2024.
The Turan payment system currently has more than 120 thousand active users. More than 700 thousand transactions are carried out monthly.
