Turkish ship "Abdulhamid Khan" starts drilling in Mediterranean

Turkish drilling ship Abdulhamid Khan started work at Tasucu-1 in the Eastern Mediterranean.
This was reported to Anadolu by state-owned TPAO.
"We continue work in the name of Türkiye's energy independence and strengthening the country's position," TPAO said in a Twitter post.
"Abdulhamid Khan" is the fourth and most advanced vessel in Türkiye's drilling fleet.
The seventh generation vessel with two towers is 238 meters long and 42 meters wide.
The ship has a crew of 200. The vessel drills to a depth of 12,200 meters.
